Robert E. and Viola Forga Scholarship

The Robert E. and Viola Forga Scholarship has been established to assist students who need financial aid to pursue a post-secondary education. Mr. and Mrs. Forga, successful business leaders in their community, value the importance of post secondary education and wish to assist deserving students. Mr. and Mrs. Forga are examples of a true entrepreneurial spirit. Through honest hard work, excellent service to customers, and a keen business sense, these two began a grading business on a “shoe-string budget” and developed this business into a substantial construction firm while, at the same time, expanding and diversifying their businesses to include real estate holdings. They developed their businesses at the same time they were raising ten wonderful children, all of whom are graduates of the Haywood County School System. Mrs. Forga wishes to assist the citizens of Haywood County by offering assistance that will hopefully open the door for others who may wish to follow in their footsteps. This scholarship is designed with that purpose in mind.
